Privacy Policy — Dream Owly

This policy describes how the Dream Owly mobile application ("App") handles information. The App is provided by the developer ("we", "us"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

What Dream Owly is

Dream Owly helps you reflect on your dreams through descriptions, emotions, and symbol work. Your dream content and related app data may be stored locally on your device, and some features may use our backend services (for example to provide interpretations). When we process data on servers, we do it to operate the App and improve its quality.

Information we may process

On-device data: text you enter (dream descriptions, feelings, symbol work), session history, and app preferences stored locally on your phone or tablet.
Purchases: subscriptions or purchases may be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and by our subscription partner Adapty (privacy policy) under their terms; we do not receive your full payment card number through the App.
Diagnostics and analytics: we use Mixpanel (privacy policy) to understand app usage through anonymised events, and Sentry (privacy policy) for crash reporting. These services may process anonymised usage events, error data, and device information (model, OS version) to help us operate and improve the App.

Advertising

The App may show ads served by Appodeal (privacy policy). Advertising providers may process technical identifiers and usage data to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and apply frequency capping.

Identifiers: advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) and similar device identifiers (where permitted by platform and your settings).
Network data: IP address and related technical information.
Ad interaction data: ad impressions, clicks, and basic engagement signals.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5+): on iOS we request permission to access your advertising identifier (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You may decline; ads will still appear but may be less relevant to your interests.
Personalization choices: depending on your device settings and region, you may be able to limit ad personalization (for example via iOS tracking permission and Android ad personalization controls).

Advertising partners process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs: Adapty (subscription management), Mixpanel (usage analytics), Sentry (crash reporting), and Appodeal (advertising). Those providers may collect technical and usage data according to their own privacy notices. We encourage you to review their policies linked above.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can uninstall the App to remove locally stored data from the device. Subscription management is handled through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Advertising personalization controls are available in your device settings (when applicable).

Changes

We may update this policy; the revision date or notice in the App will reflect material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
